Reasons You Might Need Help

Young people come to Phoenix for a variety of reasons. Some have no place to live and are looking for emergency shelter or a long term place to stay, some are struggling with relationships with family or friends, some need food or clothing and some just need someone to talk to. Youth also come to Phoenix for help with getting back to school or work, because they're trying to apply for income support, or because they want to see a nurse they know they can trust.

Asking for Help

Asking for help can be hard. We get all kinds of messages that we should be strong, that we should deal with things ourselves or that we should accept what is happening to us because "that's life." The truth is that many young people are living in situations that are not safe or healthy and some young people are living on the streets. Sometimes asking for help is the bravest thing you can do. We want you to know that when you ask, we're listening.
