Here is what some youth have said about the help they received through our programs:
"One of my friends mentioned to me to go check out this place, ‘Phoenix Centre,' and I'm telling you nothing in my whole life helped me as much as they did. I had a place to live. I got back into school for the first time since I was thirteen and I got my grade ten. I got my certificate from drug dependency and I have been clean for a little over two months."
"The staff of Phoenix Youth Programs are the only people I've encountered in the past several years who did not judge me based on my past and they were willing to give me a much needed chance. However, they did not just give me a chance... by them believing in me they gave me the encouragement to feel as though I could accomplish anything that I put my mind to."
"Through Phoenix I was able to find solutions to my problems and had support dealing with them effectively. My transition has taken me from being homeless to becoming a parent, to entering university. I have gained confidence and encouragement from Phoenix Youth Programs. They have been my guiding light in my darkest hours and for that I am eternally grateful."
