An Exit from the Street, a Place to be Heard
Phoenix Centre for Youth is a walk-in health and counselling facility which offers a first exit from street life. The Centre was established in 1994 to provide youth with a street-level resource. An average of forty youth per day access this program. Staff at this location offer counselling, referral to community resources, advocacy, health services, food, showers and laundry facilities.
The confidential and non-judgmental services offered through the Centre include crisis intervention, supportive counselling, health services, shower and laundry facilities, healthy snacks, personal care items, emergency food, and referral and advocacy services. In addition, parents of young children can access a family room, parent support programs, a lending library, baby clothes and supplies and liaison with family resource centres and pre-natal clinics.

Phoenix Centre for Youth operates on a drop-in basis.
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: 9:45am-1pm, 2pm-5pm
Tuesday: 2-5pm
Friday: 1-4:45 pm
